The Birth of Metafloora is a performance-spectacle which invites its audience into an hour-long gig from dusk to dawn. It is the multi-climax of a theatrical play or a larp, where five people are experiencing of being in a superstar's bodies for 60 minutes. The performance deals with themes such as longing and grieving in the form of pop-songs and pop-stars and the piece serves a collection of songs and acts in which space, light, bodies and instruments are all played equally. 

Metafloora is an unruly art collective and performance band that was born from the desire of its members to be in a band. Only one of the band members has an actual music background, but they all share a dream of stardom, collective work and belonging to a band. 

The Birth of Metafloora premiered at Mad House Helsinki in the summer of 2021.

Metafloora is an ongoing series of performances dealing with issues around attention, stardom and objectification.
